BioPharmaSpec has established a new, state-of-the-art Biopolymer Characterisation and Research Laboratory in Vilnius, Lithuania. We are seeking motivated and talented Scientists (MSc/PhD level) and Laboratory Technicians to join our dynamic and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on role and experience, responsibilities will include:
- Performing advanced analytical characterization of biopharmaceuticals using mass spectrometry and complementary techniques
- Developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods
- Interpreting complex datasets and generating high-quality scientific reports
- Maintaining laboratory instruments and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Contributing to innovation in analytical strategies and workflows
Minimum Qualifications
- For Technicians, minimum Bachelors/Technical degree in Life Sciences and
- For Scientists minimum Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or substantial industry/academic experience
- Strong interest in, mass spectrometry and advanced analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in standard digital tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (or equivalents)
- Strong data handling and analytical skills; experience with large dataset processing tools is an advantage
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS or other high-resolution mass spectrometry platforms
- Familiarity with protein characterization, peptide mapping, or glycosylation analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
