Quality Control Specialist/Analyst
Job description
- Perform sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure quality compliance.
- Conduct in-process analyses and evaluate third-party laboratory analysis results.
- Develop new analytical methods or modify existing methods as needed.
- Report analytical results related to chemical process control in a reliable manner.
- Reporting results concerning chemical process control in rapid and reliable manner.
- Collaborate closely with scientists during product development activities.
- Oversee laboratory equipment and the overall laboratory environment.
- Maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies in the laboratory.
- Ensure the quality of manufacturing processes and products in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Participating in internal and external audits of suppliers, clients, and ISO certification audits.
Requirements
- Higher education in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Practical laboratory experience with HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, and NMR
- Basic technical writing skills (e.g., SOPs, work instructions).
- Working proficiency in English.
- High level of diligence and accuracy, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to open, constructive communication and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- General understanding of Quality Assurance principles.
- Previous experience in a Quality Control department.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
