AFS is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to renew and modernize Lithuanian science and establish the country among the most successful innovative economies in the world. We are happy to announce that the winter session of the Young Chemists' School NJChM "Pažinimas" has been successfully completed.

Throughout the session, young chemists actively participated in lectures, seminars, meetings with alumni and performed laboratory work. Laboratory work is an important part of the school, during which students can apply theory in practice, experiment safely and deepen their knowledge of chemistry.

We invite you to participate in an academic seminar!

On January 14th (Wednesday) at 4:00 p.m., prof. Mattia Biesuz (University of Trento, Italy) will hold an academic seminar at the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences of Vilnius University. 
The professor will give a presentation entitled: Non-conventional processing of ceramics: sintering, strengthening, and the polymer-derived ceramics route. The seminar will be held in Inorganic Chemistry Auditorium (Room 141), Naugarduko St. 24.
