Research interests of the Institute of Chemistry

  1. Synthesis and investigation of novel functional materials for biomedicine, energy storage, optical and smart devices.
  2. Development of optical and electrochemical (bio)analytical systems.
  3. Development of microextraction, chromatography HPLC and GC techniques for analytical applications.
  4. Synthesis and design of molecular components for chemical biology, optical materials, and supramolecular chemistry.
  5. Chemistry didactics. 

Research interests of the Institute of Geosiences

  1. The evolution and state of the Earth's subsurface systems, co-evolution of the Earth and living organisms;
  2. Climate change and Earth observation;
  3. Research on the changes in natural and urbanized landscapes and the territorial organization of society.
