
At the ceremonial Vilnius University (VU) event "Finis Anni Academici," community members who have contributed to the university's activities and development were honored. We are delighted that members of the VU Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences community were also recognized.
Prof. Aivaras Kareiva, outgoing Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, received heartfelt thanks for his contribution as head of the faculty.
VU Rector's certificates of appreciation were also awarded to Senate members – Prof. (HP) Dr. Aldona Beganskienė, Prof. Dr. Darijus Veteikis, Prof. Dr. Viktoras Masevičius, and student representative Rokas Urbonas.
Certificates of appreciation were also presented to graduates whose studies and research achievements earned them Magna cum laude diplomas. Among them were graduates of the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, of whom the faculty is especially proud. Bachelor's degree graduates awarded Magna cum laude diplomas: Austėja Šernaitė, Ugnius Popovas, Dinas Tverijonas, Lukrecija Petrikaitė, Aistis Jomantas, Naglis Mykolas Pakštys, Patricija Daugėlaitė, Amina Elkady, and Augustė Ūsaitė. Master's degree graduates: Simona Bendžiūtė, Jonas Stadulis, Martyna Paulauskaitė, Gabija Griškonytė, Viktorija Juščenko, Aistė Krikštaponytė, Assemzhan Kunsakova, Vilius Talkevičius, and Lina Semokaitė.
