fmnt conference

We invite you to join us at the 16th International Functional Materials and Nanotechnologies (FM&NT) conference, which will take place on June 15–18, 2026, in Riga, Latvia.

The event will bring together researchers, industry experts, and innovators from around the world to explore the latest advances in functional materials and nanotechnologies. The conference will be held from June 15 to 18, 2026, at the House of Science of the University of Latvia.

The conference topics include functional materials for energy, photonics, ferroelectrics, and other fields; microfluidics and biomedical technologies; theoretical modelling of functional materials and devices; large-scale research infrastructures, including nano fabrication; as well as science policy and collaboration.

Since its launch by the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia in 2006, FM&NT has developed into a key Baltic–Nordic forum for presenting cutting-edge research and discussing emerging trends in functional materials and nanotechnologies. This conference aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among leading scientists, researchers, and innovators.
