
Yesterday, 16th of December, general meeting of the members of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences took place. During the meeting, the chairpersons and vice-presidents of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences departments were approved. Members of the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences of Vilnius University also participated in the general meeting!
- Prof. habil. dr. Aivaras Kareiva was confirmed as vice-president (responsible for science policy and international relations).
- Prof. (HP) dr. Ričardas Makuška was confirmed as chairman of the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
