In 2022 December 12 (Monday) 9:00 a.m. the remote scientific seminar at the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences will be given by Professor Hiroshi Kitagawa and his research group (Division of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University).

Professor Hiroshi Kitagawa is a distinguished scientist with over 500 scientific publications in the fields of inorganic and solid state chemistry. For his high scientific achievements, the professor was awarded the science prizes of Japan, Germany, China and Italy. Almost all of the professor's scientific publications are related to the synthesis of various compounds, the study of their electronic, magnetic, catalytic and other properties, and the use of these synthesized compounds.

December 12 the following lectures will be read:

„Synthesis and catalytic property of high-entropy alloy nanoparticles“

„Compositional dependence of structures and catalytic activity for hydrogen evolution reaction of multi-element alloy nanoparticles“

„Study of multi-dimensional transformations in coordination polymer“
