LCSS Institute of Sociology is announcing the upcoming 9th NoRSA Conference, focusing on the theme of "Regional Outcomes of Global Challenges in the Nordic Countries." Hosted by the Institute of Sociology at the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences in collaboration with Vilnius University, this conference is set to take place in the vibrant city of Vilnius from the 2nd to the 3rd of May 2024.

The aim is to foster collaborative efforts and knowledge exchange among researchers hailing from the Nordic states, members of the Nordic Council of Regional Studies Association (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden). Moreover, the open invitation is extended to researchers exploring recent trends in regional development linked to the Nordic countries.

Researchers are invited to submit preliminary abstracts, comprising up to 200 words, by the 20th of December 2023. Detailed information regarding the conference fee and logistics will be made available in due course.
